Senior Phase — School Leaver Transition Support

A major time of change for any school leaver is thinking ahead to their next stage or destination. Every learner has a different pathway and these vary from starting university, college or going straight to employment. Some learners might not have a clear idea of what they want to do once they leave school and need further support to gain and sustain a positive destination.

West OS has created a series of short films that aim to help school leavers and alleviate any worries and concerns that they may have before the summer terms commence in August or September.

West OS wants to help empower learners with the information they need for starting their new destination so that they feel confident and excited about the next stage of their learning journey- whatever pathway this may be.

Support is available from a wide range of organisations and it is vital that learners are aware of this.

What do you want to do when you leave?

University

What an exciting time awaits you in September as you commence University. University life offers so many opportunities to learn, grow and reflect. A world of experiences are out there. Take time to listen to these University students who show their passion for University life and answer any questions you might be having about this new life chapter.
